Once I was given the characters, I had to break them into parts and create its character sheet. It was necessary for me to create different heads and weapon parts depending on what the animation needed. Once this was done, all of the assets were taken into flash, rigged, then animated.  Some of the characters required visual effects (explosions, star-burst, sword swipes, etc.) which were a mix of rigged and sprite animation. Here are a few examples of the states I needed to create.

NINJA MOUSE

ALCHEMIST MOUSE

GLADIATOR MOUSE

THE CHAMELEON

THE CHAMELEON

I was also asked to create simple sprite animations for the city mice. Some of these were walk and idle cycles, as well as these paired animations. When two mice approached each other in the city, these would fire off and look as if they were interacting for a short period of time. Here are a few examples.

Here are a couple examples of the rigged effects I had to create for power-ups. Because of their size I had to avoid using sprite animation, so each of these were broken down into individual parts and animated.
